Retirement home and orphanages (Day 5 in Brasov)

From this day on, the educational section started with the purchase of basic products that we could give to the old people's home, orphanages and the gypsy villages. Then we went to our first stop, the retirement home. There we gave the things that we bought for them and we played bingo, sang, talked and danced both with and for the people of the retirement home. Then we went to Thymis, an orphanage that will stay with us all. What we saw there is indescribable, but on the other hand it might not have been so bad that we think about how good we are here in Belgium. It was a moment of silence, a silence that we never felt so hard together.

Then we went to eat in a typical Romanian restaurant, the appetite was not that big anymore. In the afternoon we went to two other orphanages and also give them the things we got for them. There we played football (with the tshirts we gave them), little games,... After that we took a look at a gypsy village and then it was time to return. In the evening we did something together with the Romanians.
